American College of Phlebology
The American College of Phlebology (formerly the North American Society of Phlebology) is a multispecialty society which was founded in 1985. It is the largest phlebology society in the United States.  The ACP is a member of the International Union of Phlebology . The mission of the ACP is to improve the standards of practice and patient care related to venous disorders. The ACP sponsors international congresses, regional symposia, fellowship grants, research awards and publishes phlebology papers in Dermatologic Surgery.

International Union of Phlebology
The International Union of Phlebology is an international phlebology society formed in 1959 in France. Member countries come from Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa,  and Australia-New Zealand.

Venous Digest Web Site
The VENOUS DIGEST is an on-line and FAX-delivered journal dedicated to the improvement of care of patients with venous problems. It publishes abstracts of current literature with comments on the publications by well-recognized authorities. It also includes book reviews, editorials, and other items of interest.

Handbook of Venous Disorders
This is an on-line book for the layman which describes venous function, dysfunction, and therapy.

American Venous Forum
The AVF is an international consortium of venous and lymphatic specialists dedicated to improving patient care through education and information exchange. It has areas of interest for the medical professional, the student, and the layman.  Of particular interest to the patient is the Handbook of Venous Disorders which is an on-line book for the layman.
